Our Story
It started with a season of fear—and a verse taped to the wall.

As a teenager, I Camilla, battled deep anxiety. I needed something solid to cling to, something unshakable. That’s when I began putting Scripture on my walls. Not for decoration, but survival.

One of the first verses I ever hung was:

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

That simple verse calmed my heart every time I read it. The more I surrounded myself with God’s promises, the more peace I experienced. I didn’t know it then, but I was living out Deuteronomy 6—writing His words on the doorposts of my home and heart.

Years later, after stepping away from a career to stay home and raise our children, that same passage changed the way I viewed our house. It wasn’t just a place to live—it was a place to worship. To disciple. To help shape little hearts for God’s Kingdom.

I remembered how the Word had transformed me, and I longed for our kids to grow up surrounded by that same unshakable truth. Not just hearing it on Sundays, but seeing it daily—on the walls where they ate breakfast, played, prayed, and grew.

But finding Scripture-based wall art that was both biblically sound and beautifully made proved difficult. Then one day, while washing dishes, the Holy Spirit nudged my heart:

If you can’t find it, create it. And make it available to others.

And so, Forever Written was born.
