40 years ago, Ember’s grandma Betty and her friend co-founded the Bern Clothes Rack. Growing up Ember was able to spend precious time with her grandma in the store and was always an eager participant in the annual fashion shows.
Elina grew up with a mother who is a master seamstress, teaching her about the importance of quality and construction in a garment.
Ember and Elina’s dream of owning their own store goes back 18 years when they first became friends….working retail together, always planning, dreaming, and coming up with new ideas.
