Hello, my name is Tiffany!

A few years ago, I got horrible blisters on the back of my heels while trying to wear a pair of Doc Martens. It felt like a knife was digging into my Achilles heel. I always ended up with blisters and bloody heels after wearing them, even with thick socks.

I searched online for different ways to break them in, but most of them seemed ridiculous to me. Some suggestions included wearing three pairs of socks, and one was as absurd as jumping in the shower with Doc Martens on, then walking around the house with those wet, sticky leather boots!

Dissatisfied with all the available solutions, I decided to make my own sock with padding in the back, thick enough to prevent any pair of shoes from causing discomfort. I took a sewing class at a local college, Orange Coast College, where I successfully made my own ultra-padded sock. Since then, I have never had a blister again. It was so easy! All I had to do was put on a sock. I knew there were others who suffered like I did. So, I knew I had to earn more, start a business, and sell it to people who had the same problem. However, I didn’t know how to start a business. From that moment on, I attended every possible professional and networking event, immersed myself in books and YouTube videos, and surrounded myself with business-minded people. With a new startup fresh out of university, there is still much to learn, but I am excited about the new entrepreneurial journey I am on and hope to put an end once and for all to the pain of uncomfortable shoes, one sock at a time.
